Does it really work?
The short answer is yes! If you can come up with a good method then you will receive your gifts, just stick to the established networks that are supported on eXceem. I have personally recieved a number of such gifts, through the completion of these sites, and a couple competition prizes and some from some very generous networks as a Christmas present a few years ago.
I have been doing these sites since early 2005, unfortunately some of the sites I have received gifts from are no longer trading, the sites featured on eXceem are all well ran and managed, and should be around for a long time to come!
The Freepay Network
I was, along with my fellow eXceem admin Trev, the first person in the UK to receive a free iPod from freeipods.com in July 2005 (we had them both delivered to us on the same day, but I opened mine first!) Back in 2005 Freepay were known as the Gratis Network, the site I completed was called freeipods.com and is now iPods.Freepay - hope that clears up any confusion.
The iPod I had received was a 20gb white 4′th generation iPod, here are some photos, in addition I was also sent a I ♥ iPod T-Shirt from freeiPods.com (Apologies for the poor quality of the photos)
Here are a couple of eXceem threads tracking my progress on freeiPods.com
- on my way to recieving my ipod from graits (Reached verification stage)
- wahoo (Free iPod received)
The Giveaway Network
The Giveaway Network was one of the first companies based in the UK to offer free gift websites, and I completed their iPodsGiveaway website in September 2006. I am currently working on thier minimacgiveaway site hoping to get a free minimac soon! I was sent the money for the iPod via paypal, to enable me to purchase the iPod locally.
GrabNetwork
I had been collecting greens for a while on iPodGrab, then stoped while I worked on other sites, after iPodGrab droped the number of referrals needed for their gifts I went for a nice and easy £100 paypal transfer. This was received in October 2005
Freebie PCs
Freebie PCs was part of the Freebie Network, and the site allowed members to make custom orders, so I chose a decent keyboard, which is still in use today! This was recieved June 2006.
myfreegadgetnetwork
The myfreegadgetnetwork ran a number of competitions for eXceem and the old version of 3iPod members, I was the lucky winner of one of them!
Christmas Present’s 2006
Very kindly some of the UK networks groped together and got me a few presents for Christmas, on the basis that I had to keep them and not give them away as competition prizes on eXceem!
